Seville – Reales Alcázares de Sevilla

Sarah wanted to visit this place and it looked boring on the outside. I almost decided to wait for her, because it was so hot outside. But I’m so glad I went in – it was amazing!

The Alcazar of Seville is the oldest royal palace still in use, and is where the king and queen of Spain reside. It includes a lot of Islamic and Christian influences, with each monarch making additions or changes. Since each part of the church was so different, I couldn’t keep track of the significance of each. So, here: have some pictures. 

We shared an audio system. Me: "You just randomly have headphones with you? I don't think I've ever seen you use headphones." Sarah: "Hell yea - I should have been a Girl Scout."
